It was so nice and warm this afternoon, I set up the sprinkler and Logan went for a splash. What a great day!

The Wedding!

It was an amazing event! Something out of the pages of a bridal magazine. Yet more elegent and spectacular.

Logan (pictured with Hunter) was super cute in his little man suit! And he performed his duties wonderfully! Both hands on the pillow the entire time (meaning fingers stayed out of the nose)

And Logan discovered that pineapple cranberry juice is delicious! In fact, it is so delicious, he couldn't be seperated from it for a moment.

The reception was a blast! But by the end of the weekend... we were all wiped out. If you look closely, you can see the hotel del in the rear window. Logan passed out before the hotel was out of site. For more wedding sights go to http://www.melissaandryan.com/

Hoppy Easter!!

We had an action packed Easter Weekend. Saturday morning we headed out to the annual Easter Egg hunt at the community center. Each year it seems to get bigger. Logan took part in the craft booths and flirted with the group activities but decided watching the potato sack race would be more fun then participating. The egg hunt itself was a bit chaotic. We lost Lo in the sea of 5 & 6 year olds several times, but he would resurface again as he darted across the field, seeking out the best candy, skipping over hundreds of generic hard candies in the quest for the fruit flavored tootsie rolls.

After all eggs were found, we headed to Hamburger Factory for Brunch with the Hoffy Family.

Easter Morning brought along the surprise of a Chocolate Easter Bunny. What a treat!!

Followed by several rounds of egg hiding in the back yard then brunch at Nannie and Papa's with all the Fam. A most egg-cellent Easter!

Dinner with ol' friends

Twenty Seven years ago, the 4 of us were in brownies together at Valley Elementary School. That doesn't seem possible! In fact it might just be mathematically impossible.

Who would have bet that so many years after high school we would be sitting around discussing politics, the economy and taxes. Don't get me wrong, we of course had our share of gossip; who married who, who isn't married any more, who moved where and general recaps of those we are still in touch with. It was a wonderful visit, and who knows maybe I'll even see the 2 that don't live across the pond a little more frequently now :)

"MOM, there's a seed in my Pirate Booty"

This is what Logan said to me while sitting at the kitchen table eating his after school snack. He then handed me the "seed" for my examination and just guess what it was.....

HIS TOOTH! We've been on tooth watch for the past couple days. It started about a week ago when we noticed he had 2 adult teeth coming in on the bottom, behind his baby teeth. A few days later, his first loose tooth, and today.... out it popped, with the help of pirate booty.

Of course he was excited! So off he ran to put the tooth in this special glow in the dark tooth holder for the tooth fairy. But along the way, he dropped the tooth, some where in the dark hallway. So the next 10 minutes was spent feeling around the hall, trying to find this itty bitty tooth. I was starting to think we would need to write an IOU note to the tooth fairy when suddenly the tooth popped into view. Back on the mission of placing the tooth in it's safe place.

And ready and waiting for the tooth fairy to come. I wonder what she will bring???
