A tomato plant adopted us this year, just started growing along side the house. I haven't done a thing to it except prop it up a bit because it was growing out of control. So far we've had one very tasty tomato.
And our citrus tree is finally producing for the first time since we've lived here. About a year ago I thought it was a lime tree because that fruit was green for a long time then about 3-4 months later I though it was a lemon. They were no longer green and they tasted sour. That brings us to today - big, juicy, sweet oranges - they just took a year to get there. Is that normal? If you have any expertise in citrus trees, I'd appreciate your input.We should be living off the land in no time!
