A day with the cousins

Over the holidays we hit the road to El Centro to visit my cousins and niece. Caden was his usual showman, loving all the attention.

Good Hygiene

A tradition in our home is to receive new toothbrushes in our stockings. Caden had a Baby Einstein toothbrush in his stocking and Logan was very excited to test it out right away. Caden seemed to like it...another thing to chew on with those 4 chompers.

Christmas Day

We spent the rest of Christmas Day at Nannie and Papa's for feasting and festivities. It was a packed house and we're related to most of them. Here is Caden rockin out with Uncle G and his new keyboard.

We ended the evening with a game of Apples to Apples. Logan finally gave up, but he played a good game with Aunt Miss as his partner.

Luke and Becky were are game show hosts for the evening.

Caden gave up too.

We are so fortunate to be surrounded by so much family. I know Logan and Caden can't appreciate it now, but I hope when they look back they can see how lucky they are.

Christmas Morning

Our morning started at 5:45 with a note from Santa that he left on the letter Logan had mailed to him. (by the way, Logan's letter was really cute, he included a hope that Santa would fill Caden's stocking too)

Caden had a stuffed stocking.

Then we had to check out the tree...what did Santa leave?

Christmas Eve

Since we were on the road right before Christmas this year, we celebrated a little differently. We spent Christmas Eve with Grandma, Grandpa and Aunt Kelly. We ate yummy dinner and exchanged presents.

Grandma, very enthusiastically, wrapped a bow around Caden, commenting that this is the closest she will get to dressing up a baby girl.
