Yee Haw!!

The annual Mother/Son dance was this weekend at Logan's school. With a western theme, we met up at Hamburger Factory for dinner. Luckily they have a back room to help contain our wild and crazy boys.

The dance was full of fun and games...Logan particularly liked the games since you win CANDY!! (his pockets were filled with wrappers by the end of the evening)

Harry with the Hoffy's

To help encourage the Hoffy girls to read Harry Potter, I suggested that we watch the movie when they finished the first book. I had an ulterior motive...I've unsuccessfully tried to talk Logan into having a Harry Potter birthday party for a few years so I jumped at the chance to spread a little Hogwarts magic around the house.

We set up Shawn's new outdoor screen to view Harry under the stars. The design your own chocolate covered wands was their favorite part...

although the making of shadow puppets after the movie was a big hit too!!

You know what they say about teacher's kids...

Hoopla with the Hoffy Girls

As usual, we've spent some of our fun summer days with those crazy Hoffy girls. Here are a few highlights.

(oh look, the rare pic of ME...all covered up because my skin has met it's quota of solar radiation ☺)

And look, there is Caden all covered up too...he's met his quota of wind, sand, water and all things beach-like.

Why did I bother dragging sand toys to the beach when a dead sardine provided an endless amount of entertainment?
