Lego Lego Lego

Logan's Lego Birthday Party was a success! Fifteen of his favorite friends had fun playing Lego bingo, building and racing lego race cars, jumping in the bounce house and making lego masterpieces.
The Lego Cake survived the heat and so did we.

Van Pelt Farms

You may recall my post about our beloved plum tree , now we have a couple more surprises...
A tomato plant adopted us this year, just started growing along side the house. I haven't done a thing to it except prop it up a bit because it was growing out of control. So far we've had one very tasty tomato.
And our citrus tree is finally producing for the first time since we've lived here. About a year ago I thought it was a lime tree because that fruit was green for a long time then about 3-4 months later I though it was a lemon. They were no longer green and they tasted sour. That brings us to today - big, juicy, sweet oranges - they just took a year to get there. Is that normal? If you have any expertise in citrus trees, I'd appreciate your input.
We should be living off the land in no time!

Yes, Sir!

(with his instructor, Mr. B)
Logan tested for his Junior Yellow Belt last weekend. It was an hour long demonstration of skills. He did great! He really impressed us with his focus and power. That skinny body hides a lot of strength.

How time flies...

Logan turned 6 yesterday. It doesn't seem possible. He had a great day, brownies with his class at school, pizza party last night with Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Kelly, Nannie, Pappa, Aunt Melis, Uncle Ryan, Uncle G and Aunt Chelsea. And this weekend... Logan's Lego Party with a bunch of 4-6 year olds. I'll post pics from that, if I survive :)

They grow up so fast
