Caden's first friends
Almost every Monday since October, Caden and I get together with a group of moms and babies. We all met in a Mommy and me yoga class and continued getting together since then. We started just walking together, since the babies weren't mobile yet, but now that they are more active, we spread out a blanket after out walk and let them pal around. Luke and Jake are the 2 buddies in these pics.

Ross Family Fun
Saturday Night we hosted a party. Several friends from high school were over along with the Delaney's, Ron's parents and my parents. (Who would have thought the day would come when we would WANT our parents at a party?)
Emerson and Logan really liked hanging out together. I found them partner reading in Logan's room, helping each other sound out big words...too adorable!
Here's the gang...to think we all went to elementary school together...CRAZY...
Kevin racing Caden down the hall...I think Caden won!
Ron...up close and personal
Proof that Greg was there
ahhhh
Why is Kevin touching Shawn?
For more fun and adventure, we got together on Sunday again. Here the kids pretended not to see me try and take their picture.

Hoodwinked
It was an action packed St. Patricks day that actually started yesterday when Logan got home from school. They had read a few books about leprechauns and he was convinced he could catch one. So for the next 3 hours he built traps.
He told me that HE wouldn't be hoodwinked by any leprechaun.
While building he also discovered a mysterious trail of pennies that lead him around the backyard until it eventually stopped at the fence, near a patch of clover. He immediately set off next door to ask the neighbors if the trail continued on their side. (thank goodness they we're not home. That would have been tough to explain)
To kick off our St. Pattys Day we ate green waffles with green apple juice.
Logan checked his traps immediately only to find the leprechaun made off with his 'gold' but left him a present...a set of funny looking teeth (that leprechaun needs to restock the prize cabinet).
I also taught a science lesson in Logan's class today. They are learning about matter and how it can chance from one phase to another. We made GREEN ICE CREAM!!!

We ended our day with some yummy corned beef and cabbage.
