BizTown

Logan spent a week at Business Camp this summer and LOVED it...you read that right, Business Camp. I was skeptical but after seeing what they did all week,  it really was right up Logan's ally. At the start of the week, they invented a product, made a business plan and had to market it to a team of investors ala Shark Tank. During the second half of the week, they applied for a job in their "town" which involved completing a job application and going on an interview.Here is the team...buddies from school

On their final day, they get to run BizTown. Logan was a reporter for the San Diego Union Tribune.

Parents are invited to check out the town in a open house on Friday afternoon. Logan gave us a tour and we checked out all their inventions.

With so much buzz about SDCC we decided to head downtown and see what we could see.

 After a brief trolley ride, our first stop was the Children's Museum where part of it was transformed into a Cartoon Network promotion for a show called The Regular Show (never hear of it? me either) Caden was in fact the only one who knew anything about the show thanks to the commercials shown during Pokemon & Scooby Doo.

 Caden answered a trivia question correctly and won a prize!

 We spent a little time playing in the museum too.

Next we headed across the street to the Hyatt to a GIGANTIC arcade filled with yet to be released games. Think the boys liked that??

 Caught the B-52's at the 4 o'clock Friday concert at the Del Mar Races...a concert where I know EVERY SONG!!
