Update: As you all know, this ended in the worse case scenario...so very sad, so very preventable and unbelievable. My heart goes out to her family and friends. I know for many of my colleagues at PHS, this has been an extremely emotional time, offering support and love to their students while they deal with their own sense of loss. Stay strong, my friends. Your efforts are appreciated by all.

Junior Harry Potter shares Buddy♥ Love♥
It's just a bit past noon right now and Buddy is exhausted! Caden really LOVES Buddy...if Buddy was younger, they would be bestest of friends. Instead, Buddy tolerates Caden and Caden takes full advantage of it...
Caden found Logan's Harry Potter glasses this morning and apparently had to share his adorableness.

poor Buddy! and I guess I'm re-washing those towels and blankets :(
(doesn't Buddy look THRILLED?)
Then the glass went back on, UPSIDE DOWN :)
Fast Forward to lunch time. While I was fixing sandwiches, I looked over to find Caden standing on the laundry basket. He had overturned the basket which was full of freshly folded blankets and towels.
Now take a closer look!

Fantastic February Beach Day
It was a bit crazy this time though, winter high tide means our usual beach pass was underwater. I had to leave the jogging stroller at the top of the rip-rap and scale over the boulders with all our beach stuff and the monkey. Must pack lighter next time.

Caden's Happenings
Every day brings new discoveries, interests and general craziness...

right after these pics were taken, Caden let go of the balloon...oh so sad :(

He also enjoys playing the harmonica lately, even tried to share his new interest with Buddy, who didn't take him up on his offer.
He fell asleep a couple times on the way back from dropping off Logan, obviously he shouldn't be waking up so EARLY.
He also enjoys his new "cool guy" look
along with walking around in Lo's shoes (on the wrong feet)
Spends some time on the potty...nothing deposited yet, but at least there is interest
And to finish up...a few video clips to share, showing you daily life with our monkey-boy

Happy Valentines Day for Crayon out loud
Back when we we're rained in, Logan and I started his valentine cards for this year. I had seen this idea a while back and knew this was a perfect Logan project.

Starting with a bunch of left over crayons, we peeled off the paper and filled up these cute cupcake molds, melted them in the oven and
Voila! a cute little heart shaped rainbow crayon was born.
Sochi-2014
Do you think Apollo Ohno started this way? He might be ready for the 2014 games in Russia!!!
Logan is in the green hoodie
In his defense, about 20 minutes later, Logan was gliding around the rink with ease, but that video isn't as entertaining :)

Disney Days
Shawn and Logan made it up to Disneyland last weekend and Logan rode California Screamin' for the first time...my little boy rode UPSIDE DOWN...WITHOUT ME!!! I love coasters and this one is a great one. The first blast off is intense but its a smooth ride with an incredible view of California Adventure and over to Disneyland.
Where does the time go?
