Tahoe or Bust!!

This summer we embarked on a funtastic road trip to Tahoe, just me and the boys. We were meeting up with three other friends of mine from elementary school and their kids.

We hit the road with ease and set off North for the next 11 hours...yep, 11 hours to Sacramento thanks to traffic at several spots along the way.

At one of our potty stops, we discovered our first roadtrip casualty, green army man assaulted by a mini M&M.

We finally made it to Sacramento near bedtime and luckily, everyone was ready to catch some ZZZZs

Off to the state capitol in the morning

On our way to Tahoe, we stopped for lunch at a Gold Mine

we didn't find any gold but the mine was nice and cool
