Day 3, can you believe it's only been 3 days?
We made it to Ukiah... we had a great visit with Aunt Robin and Logan LOVED playing with his second cousins Griffin and Erin. I think they were the inspiration for him to suddenly want to swim like a fish. (Big kids can be a good influence sometimes) Logan was also introduced to the idea of a cannonball, which is his new "trick".
We strolled over to the Russian River, only a few yards from their home.
Shawn showed off his rock skipping skills (who knew?)
We played in their pool for HOURS, all the kids (including Shawn) were having splash wars and cannon ball competitions.
After a rest period of Pee-Wee's Big Adventure we headed off to a super yummy Mexican Restaurant.
And off to the Skunk Train the next day... We rode from Fort Bragg to Northspur on the crookedest railroad through the beautiful California Redwoods. Lo, of course, was thrilled to be riding a train.
We finished our visit with a picnic on the beach and kite flying.
It was a wonderful visit! We can't wait to see them again in April.
